Reverse Osmosis (RO) water offers something other types of water can't - water cleaned fresh daily! RO water simply is water that has been run through a semi-permeable membrane that only allows the smallest molecules known to pass through - water molecules!
Reverse Osmosis removes or reduces all types of chemicals from water, resulting in Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) removal of about 99%. Ordinary filters can't remove TDS. If TDS cannot be removed, then a lot of chemicals also can't be removed. Instead of storing chemicals (and sometimes bacteria) month after month, as other filters do, the RO membrane uses a unique self cleaning action to flush impurities out to drain. This means that the continuing performance is "like new". The quality of the water doesn't diminish over the months until exhausted, as with ordinary filters. In essence, RO water is as pure as rainwater BEFORE it reaches our atmosphere.
